Curved Smart Glass
Switchable privacy glass manufactured to a curve, for radius walls, cylindrical rooms, feature partitions and shaped facades.
Overview
A curve does not rule out switchable glass
Curved glazing is usually treated as a place where privacy has to be solved with a blind or an etched pattern. Smart Glass Technologies panels are custom manufactured, and that includes curved panels.
Made to your radius
The panel is manufactured for your specific curve, not adapted on site.
Shapes and cut-outs too
Holes, notches and shaped edges are produced with the panel.
Same performance as flat glass
Switching speed, light transmittance, UV blocking and power draw are unchanged.

Common questions
Questions about curved glass
What radius can you produce?
The achievable radius depends on the panel size and thickness, so send your drawings and our technical team will confirm before quoting.
Is curved glass more expensive?
Curved panels are a custom fabrication and are quoted per project. Send the geometry and we will price it.
Can it be fitted to glass I already have?
Yes, on suitable existing glass we apply our smart film. For new work or replacement glazing we supply complete laminated smart glass panels.
What happens when the power goes out?
Original PDLC is private when the power is off and clear when it is on. Reverse PNLC is the other way around and stays clear in a power failure.
How is it switched?
By wall switch, remote, mobile app, schedule, or integration with a building or access control system.
How much does it cost?
Our published prices start at $70 per sq ft for our smart film and $145 per sq ft for laminated smart glass. See the full breakdown on our smart glass cost page.
How long does it take?
Typical production is 2-4 weeks, with delivery in 5-10 days depending on size and scope.
Do you install it?
