RiseNY, is an unprecedented new attraction that combines museum exhibit galleries with a breathtaking theme park-style soaring ride.
It has its debut on December 15 2021 at 160 West 45th Street in the center of Manhattan.
RiseNY elevates, inspires, and links audiences to the Big Apple’s most
renowned landmarks and events via a uniquely immersive, exciting, and entertaining experience.
RiseNY was designed and produced in collaboration with various major cultural organizations, Broadway plays, and people who act as co-curators of their separate exhibit galleries by Running Subway, a New York-based entertainment production firm.
We were thrilled to work with a professional contractor, a company that specializes in sound, video, and control system design, to create a one-of-a-kind exhibition for the RiseNY Project. With 35 years of experience as a theatre designer and has designed sound for 36 Broadway musicals and plays.
For this project, we have applied Smart Pdlc film on 4 custom-made glass cabinets which were used to display antiques such as Bruce Springsteen’s guitar and Madonna’s jacket.
Using rear projection technology, the film applied to the custom-made glass vitrine was also used to project creative visuals and films relating to the art symbols.
Each glass vitrine had a separate switch to control the transparency of the PriWatt Film, the installation was completed in 2 days and our certified installation team worked with an Electrician to connect our Transformers to the remote systems.
We were delighted to collaborate and to implement our product to help Explore NYC’s vibrant pop-cultural evolution to see its indelible impact on the world and we are excited to work with you on your next cultural, exhibition, or museum project!
